Day 1 - Of a two part workshop. You are required to sign up for both days if you intend to attend both days.
Learn to stilt walk for fun or performance at this all-levels intro workshop! You’ll learn all the basics of walking confidently on peg stilts, how to fall safely and prevent injury, and drills to build up agility and strength. On day one of the workshop we’ll build balance while walking on short (12”) peg stilts. Practice peg stilts are provided!
Participant requirements:
- Ages 18+
- Must provide your own hard knee pads (like ones for skating)
- Additional wrist & elbow pads are encouraged but not required

About the instructor:
Natale Luma has been stilt walking since 2012, strolling at great heights for fun & professional performance throughout the PNW. When teaching stilts she focuses on building a strong foundation of technique with safety at the forefront, all within an inclusive and encouraging container.
