Fabric

  • Intro Level

    Are you new to aerial dance? This is the class for you! In this class we focus on strength and flexibility within the hammock while introducing you to aerial terms and techniques to build the body awareness needed for aerial dance.

    No Prerequisites

    Recommended attire - tight-fitting leggings and top. Bodysuits and leotards with leggings are great!

  • Beginner Level

    This class explores different techniques for getting into the hammock as well as skills you can do within and under it. Each class will condition to build strength and flexibility while also playing with combinations of different skills. This class is great for beginners as well as those that have been out of aerial or dance movement for a while.

    Prerequisites:

    Strength & Control

    • Controlled straddle invert from ground with no instructor assistance

    • Harness entrance and exit with control - no assistance from instructor

    • Straddle invert entrance to seated with control - no assistance from instructor

    • Seated to standing with control

    • Awareness of spin and self-regulation

    Skill Proficiency

    • Harness to knee hook exit with control

    • Half Harness to knee hook exit with control

    • Star pose and mermaid with single hand hold from seated

    • Transition between 2-3 poses with strength and control (e.g. seated → star)

    Safety & Conduct

    • Consistent use of mats and safe dismounts

    • Understanding of when to ask for help

    • Proper fabric handling and twist awareness

    • Safe and controlled exit from the apparatus (no flopping or falling)

    • Positive, respectful studio engagement

    Recommended attire - tight-fitting leggings and top. Bodysuits and leotards with leggings are great!

  • Intermediate Level

    We will explores different sequences under, in and standing in the hammock, build endurance, explore different types of entrances and exits, and work towards inverting in the air. Each class will condition to build strength and flexibility while also playing with combinations of different skills. This class is great for intermediate students who have been taking Level 1 classes and have been passed off.

    Prerequisites

    - Up and overs on the ground

    - Comfortably come to standing

    Recommended attire - tight-fitting leggings and top. Bodysuits and leotards with leggings are great!

  • Intro Level

    Are you new to aerials? This is the class for you! In this class we focus on strength and flexibility while introducing you to aerial terms and techniques to build the body awareness needed for aerial dance. We will learn different inverts and climb techniques while staying close to the ground.

    No Prerequisites

    Recommended attire - tight-fitting leggings and top. Bodysuits and leotards with leggings are great!

  • Beginner Level

    We will focus on foundational techniques needed to invert and climb the silks as well as skills you can do close to the ground. Each class will condition to build strength and flexibility while also playing with combinations of different skills. This class is great for beginners as well as those that have been out of aerial or dance movement for a while.

    Prerequisites:

    Strength, Skill & Safety

    • 10–15 second active hang with shoulder engagement

    • Controlled french/standard climb halfway or higher up the silks. 

    • Slow and controlled descent

    • Figure 8 footlock from the ground without instructor help

    • Close to even double foot locks (figure 8 foot locks on both feet)

    • Basic wrap awareness (knows when to ask for help if wrapped)

    • Demonstrates control and body awareness transitioning between 2-3 different moves/poses

    • Safe and controlled exit from the apparatus (no flopping or falling)

    Class Conduct

    • Consistent mat use and safe behavior

    • Respectful use of equipment and studio space

    • Understanding of basic aerial vocabulary

    • Positive engagement with instructors and peers

  • Are you looking to ease into level 2 silks? This class will be perfect for you. In this class we will be putting sequences together, exploring new movements and taking those into the air. Ideal for intermediate students and higher-level beginners.

    Prerequisites:

    - Proficient at silks 1 pass offs.

    - Climb to the top of the silk on both sides

    - Foot locks in the air

    Recommended attire - tight-fitting leggings and a top. Bodysuits & leotards with leggings are great. Some classes may need something to cover armpits.

    Early cancelation (24+ hours before class) will result in a refund of credit back to your account. Late cancellations will forfeit the credit and not be able to be used for future sessions.

  • Intermediate Level

    We will focus on movements and sequences in the air, build endurance, explore different types of climbs, and work towards inverting in the air. Each class will condition to build strength and flexibility while also playing with combinations of different skills.

    This class is great for intermediate students who have been taking Level 1 classes and have been passed off.

    Class Prerequisite

    To move from Beginner Silks 1 to Intermediate Silk 2, students must demonstrate:

    Strength & Body Awareness

    • 20+ second active hang from hands

    • Single footlock in the air - both sides

    • Double footlock in the air

    • Straddle inversion (ground or air with assist)

    • Comfort with sequences halfway up the silks or higher

    Skill Proficiency

    • Single foot lock in the air (both sides)

    • Double foot lock in the air

    • Hip key from hang on the ground - controlled entrance and exit- 

    • Hip key in the air - from hang or russian squat

    • Cross-back straddle entrance and invert (clean setup and exit)

    Sequencing & Flow

    • Perform a sequence of 3–4 moves with control

    • Ability to safely climb → foot lock → 2-3 move sequence → descend

    • Demonstrates wrap understanding and safe exits

    • Confident movement between skills and transitions

    Class Conduct

    • Demonstrates respect for peers and instructors

    • Safe and controlled exit from the apparatus (no flopping or falling)

    • Uses mats appropriately and consistently

    • Aware of personal limits and asks for support when needed

Steel

  • Intro Level

  • Beginner Level

    This class explores various techniques for entering the lyra, as well as skills that can be performed within and under it. Each class will condition to build strength and flexibility while also playing with combinations of different skills. This class is great for beginners as well as those who have been out of aerial or dance movement for a while.

    Prerequisites:

    Mount & Dismount Proficiency

    • Get into the hoop using a side mount without instructor assistance from chest height or higher.

    • Dismount with control

    Strength & Awareness

    • Hold an active hang for 15-30 seconds

    • Demonstrate shoulder engagement & safe grip

    • Show comfort and body control while moving between at least two poses

    Skill Demonstration

    Successfully perform:

    • Delilah/Side Mount

    • Side Sit/Star/Stag Sit

    • Amazon

    • Mermaid

    • Straddle/Star on the Bar

    • Human in the Moon

    • Push out/Prance/Splits Away

    Class Conduct

    • Understand and use safe practice techniques

    • Show respect for equipment and fellow students

    • Safe and controlled exit from the apparatus (no flopping or falling)

    • Demonstrate the ability to follow instructions and self-assess safety

  • Are you looking to ease into level 2 lyra? This class will be perfect for you. In this class, we will be putting longer sequences together, exploring intentional transitions, and becoming comfortable standing in the lyra. Ideal for intermediate students and higher-level beginners.

    Prerequisites:

    • Proficient at lyra 1 pass-offs.

    • Consistent mount into the lyra from chest height and higher

    • Confident transition from amazon to cuddle and wine glass

    • Confident transition from straddle to cuddle and wine glass.

    Recommended attire - tight-fitting leggings and a top. Bodysuits & leotards with leggings are great. Some classes may need something to cover the armpits.

  • Intermediate Level

    We will focus on movements and sequences within and inverted in the lyra, building endurance, exploring unique transitions between shapes and working towards a strong pike/ball invert to the top of the lyra. Each class will condition to build strength and flexibility while also playing with combinations of different skills. This is an intermediate class.

    Prerequisites:

    To move from Beginner Lyra 1 to Intermediate Lyra 2, students must demonstrate:

    Strength & Control

    • Clean execution of at least 3 of the 4 main mounts (side, straddle, ball/pike, pull over)

    • Double knee (hocks) hang to sit with control

    • Ball inversion to double knee/hocks hang on top bar with control

    • Pull-over to top bar with foot hook/assistance if needed. 

    • 30-45 seconds active hang from top bar

    Key Skill Proficiency

    Perform with control and awareness:

    • Straddle/Star on the Bar to Cuddle and Wine Glass

    • Hip Hang (double and single with control). 

    • Knee (hocks) Hang on top bar & bottom bar

    • Amazon 

    • Mermaid

    • Front Balance with optional spot

    • Stand in lyra

    Sequencing & Transitions

    • Link 3–4 moves in a fluid sequence (with or without spin)

    • Transition fluidly through different sequences starting in seat, straddle/star on the bar, and front balance.

    • Show ability to maintain form during movement and spin

    Safety & Awareness

    • Correct grip, engagement, and exits

    • Safe and controlled exit from the apparatus (no flopping or falling)

    • Use of mats, equipment awareness, and class etiquette

  • Intro Level

    Are you new to aerial dance or flying pole? This is the class for you! In this class we focus on strength and flexibility on the flying pole while introducing you to aerial terms and techniques to build the body awareness needed for aerial dance.

    No Prerequisites

    Recommended attire - tight-fitting leggings and top. Bodysuits and leotards with leggings are great!

  • Beginner Level

    In this class, we will explore different techniques and moves to help us climb, sit, and pose while initiating and controlling a forward and backward spin. Each class will condition to build strength and flexibility while also playing with combinations of different skills. This class is great for those familiar with aerial dance or static pole dance.

    Prerequisites:

    • Dead hang from a bar, lyra, or pole for 30 seconds

    • 60-second forearm plank

    • 10 ball tucks

    Recommended attire - tight-fitting leggings and top. Bodysuits and leotards with leggings are great!

  • Intermediate Level

    We will explore different techniques and moves to invert, shoulder mount grips, and explore longer combos. Each class will condition to build strength and flexibility while also playing with combinations of different skills. This is an intermediate class and is great for students who have been taking level 1 classes and have passed off on all prerequisites.

    - Prerequisites

    • Proficient in all level 1 pass offs

    • 10 forearm brace cross-twists with hip lift

    • Strong climb to the top of the pole

    • Proficient hip switches down the pole

    • Proficient at extended jasmine

Floor and Flow

  • All Levels

    In this class we will be building muscle and strength to provide length and flexibility to our bodies. This is not a relaxing class but will instead focus on warming up muscles and working towards an active range of motion. Each class will lead to a peak pose within shoulders, back, front splits or middle splits. All levels are welcome and instructors will provide leveled modifications to help you progress from where you are at.

    No Prerequisites

    Recommended Attire: Clothing that is not restricting and comfortable to move in.

    Note that this flexibility class is not appropriate for people who are recovering from spinal surgery, and is not a replacement for injuries that require physical therapy.

  • All Levels

    To protect and progress your body in aerial training it is important to build balanced strength across the body. In this class we will do a variety of exercises using body weight and different props to build the strength and control needed for aerial dance. All levels are welcome and instructors will provide leveled modifications to help you progress from where you are at.

    No Prerequisites

    Recommended Attire: Clothing the is comfortable to move in.

  • All Levels

    In this class we’ll focus on building coordination, strength, stamina, and dexterity with hula hoops, both as a foundation for a personal flow practice or as cross-training for other movement modalities. On body, off body, isolations, tosses, and everything in between - this class will give you a well-rounded command of the hoop and level up your skills from wherever you’re at.

    No prerequisites! Students can expect both challenges & wins through leveled modifications - helping you progress no matter your current hooping experience.

    Recommended Attire: Clothing that is comfortable to move in. Shoes optional.
